           In a note dated 23 August 2002, the Permanent Mission of Burkina Faso to the United Nations, informed the Secretariat of its Government’s decision to withdraw the nomination of Rassolguessida Clémence Ilboudo as a candidate for election to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.
