Note by the Secretary-General

Addendum

          In connection with the nomination for election to the Human Rights Committee contained in document CCPR/SP/54/Add.1, the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations has informed the Secretariat, in a note dated 10 September 1999, that the Government of the Dominican Republic had decided to withdraw the nomination of Ms. Rhadys Iris Abreu de Polanco as its candidate in the forthcoming elections to the Human Rights Committee.
