Addendum


In connection with the list of candidates mentioned in annex III to document CCPR/SP/43, the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Office at Geneva has informed the Secretariat, in a note dated 27 July 1994, that the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to withdraw the nomination of Mr. Seyyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad as its candidate in the forthcoming elections to the Human Rights Committee.
