1.    Since the preparation of document CAT/SP/15/Add.3, the Secretary-General has received the nomination of M. Aboudou Assouma (Togo) for election to the Committee against Torture.

2.    Biographical data on M. Assouma as furnished by the State party concerned are reproduced in the annex below.
